Roll Notes
I’m really proud of these. As soon as they came out of the scanner, I could feel the culmination of everything I’ve learned so far on display. Not only that, but these photos are a perfect marriage of subject and film - the Harman Phoenix was the right choice for this area of Iceland. I love the super crunchy blacks, the big contrast, and the fat grain in these - especially in the photos of the trailhead going up the hill with the waterfall (14) and the photo of Rachel (5). I would have liked to get a little closer in some of these photos and I’d also like to be more comfortable getting just one shot of something, but other than those minor points I’m extremely happy with these.
