Roll Notes
One of my favorite days of my trip - walking through the area next to the Parthanon and the Plaka neighborhood. I think the two shots of the shrubbery may have been shot on Aegina, actually. I love the color tones of Fuji Superia (at least those I can see with my incredible colorblindness) especially the blue tones in the photo of the souvenir hat shop. I have such difficulty editing color film. Just getting back from a second trip through Europe where I mostly shot digital, I was exhausted with the amount of dust removal and healing I had to do in Lightroom for these. On that trip I felt I didn’t miss my film camera much. But spending the day scanning and editing these reminds me of the magic of the medium and inspires me to get back out and shoot more.
