Roll Notes

Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Or, I feel like I’m losing a lot. One tough part of this project is that I’m not shooting/developing/commenting on these sequentially. I have a huge bag of shot film in my fridge and I’m plucking out a random roll each week. What that means is that while I’m learning as I go, I may learn something and not see the results for months. Here, I had issues balancing exposure (especially in Hamburg and the first day in Amsterdam) for some tough cloudy/rainy weather. Only 18/37 exposures were usable. Ugh. I’m fairly certain the lightmeter in the Canon is underexposing and I’ve gotten a handheld lightmeter now. Let’s see if it makes a difference for my more recent photos.
