Roll Notes

I shot these mostly in Bruges on a solo trip through Europe. When I first got these developed I was pretty disappointed - there were serious light leaks and a lot of questionable exposures. As I spent some time editing them something clicked. I let go of the images that were in my head when I shot them and embraced the flaws of the final photograph. It’s very difficult to make anything at all when you’re a perfectionist. I know it’s always better to be in the ring. But looking at these photos also made me realize I need to do less static shooting. Okay - on to the next one.
