Roll Notes

These are among my favorite photographs I have ever taken. The ones in Montauk are pretty good to me, they have some interesting tones and perspectives, but the ones in the West Village are my favorite - in particular the shot of the women outside the community center. I believe that’s my favorite photograph I have ever taken. I love the grain, the motion blur, and all of the different expressions - especially the central figure who has a beguiling look on her face where she looks almost disappointed in me but knows she’ll forgive me. I think I’m getting a lot closer to finding my voice.
